Luton Town FC Community Trust – Luton & Bedfordshire (Full Time Role)

Full Time Coaching positions L2 and L3

Luton Town FC Community Trust are looking for motivated, engaged and enthusiastic FA L2 and L3 qualified coaches to deliver high quality sessions within both our community schools programme and youth development system that provides player pathways from grass root to schoolboy academy football.

These are full time positions which includes evening and weekend work. Two or three day contracts also available

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £19,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Football Youth Development Programme – Part Time Coaches

Luton Town FC Community Trust – Luton & Bedfordshire

Luton Town FC Community Trust are looking for motivated, engaged and enthusiastic FA qualified coaches to deliver high quality sessions within our youth development system that provides player pathways from grass root to schoolboy academy football.

Job Description:

Luton Town FC Community Trust are looking to recruit qualified coaches for the new 2021-2022 season who are be able to deliver age specific coaching programmes as part of the Club’s youth development system for recruited players.

  • Planning, delivering, evaluating and recording coaching sessions
  • Delivering age appropriate coaching sessions to meet the needs of the players
  • Monitoring individual and team performance within training and games
  • Preparing and conducting player/parent reviews
  • Ability to manage squads on match days (school holidays) and lead squads on overseas tours
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to the role.
  • Liaise with parents regarding progress of their children to include co-ordinating a reporting process including parent/player meetings.
  • Work closely with the Football Development Manager regarding player progression.

A bit about you:

  • FA Level 2 Coaching certificate minimum (working toward Level 3 desirable)
  • FA Youth Award Modules 1-3 (or working towards)
  • Current FA CRB/DBS check, FA Emergency Aid, FA Safeguarding Children and FA Licensed Coaches Club membership
  • Experience of coaching within a sports development environment – professional football desirable but not essential.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about player progression
  • Experience of report writing and face to face relationships

We are looking for coaches who:

  • Possesses a passion for the game.
  • Is trustworthy and able to take responsibility for themselves and others.
  • Is organised and able to work effectively in both a team environment and as an individual, always maintaining a professional approach to work.
  • Is able to relate well to, motivate, and encourage others being conscious of being a positive role model at all times.
  • Has an enthusiastic attitude to life and work.
  • Has the ability to make learning and work fun.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire children to achieve their potential.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Night shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All centres have covid secure protocols in place.

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)

Location:

  • Luton LU4 9QN (Preferred)

Licence:

  • FA L2 Coaching Award (Required)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

Work remotely:

  • No
